Biography

Kemi is a results-driven leader with 22 years multi-donor, multi-sector, multi-country experience with USAID, DFID, EU, and UN with a successful track record in creatively conceptualizing and delivering impactful projects, and in ensuring commensurate performance management and visibility. Her multi-sectoral and mutli-thematic experience include education, public health, governance, agriculture, leadership, gender, diversity, security, conflict and stability, urban development and sustainability. In her current role, Kemi effectively leads two citicentric city-wide projects on strategic performance management and the creative economy.

As Head of Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning on the DFID-PERL project, she led the development and implementation of the results framework and rounds of multi-stakeholder influence tracking. She has led results framework development and theory of change sessions for multiple projects including DFID-PERL, USAID-GHSC-PSM, UKAID-CSSF-West Africa MEL Project, and DFID-PATHS2. She is a strong advocate and champion of proactively harnessing and utilizing program knowledge (data inclusive) to improve delivery efficiency and program outcomes. She is reputed for successfully deploying her capacity to research, analyze, and synthesize information into compelling stories and comprehensive presentations which allow programs more visibility and improved efficiency and effectiveness. Her facilitation skills of team building and reflection sessions is profound and yielded incredible results, and she is especially passionate about mentoring and supporting aspiring country development professionals.

Kemi is passionate above development possibilities globally, and especially on the African continent. She mentors young women leaders on their self discovery journeys and to embrace fresh and unique challenges that align with their passion, interests and skills. She is a poet, a foodie, and an author of various books
